Wine tourism in the Langhe

From the grape to the glass. The Langa: a place in which the opportunities to toast never lack!

One of the trump cards of the Albese hills, characterized by the perfect mix between territory and favourable climate: the world of the wine. There is a lot to discover about the “red gold”, always present in the piedmontese culture and tradition.

The wine changes, like the landscapes, from a hill to the other, from a versant to the other always revealing surprises visiting vineyards and wine cellars. The wine cellars, from the biggest to the smallest, are the ones opening the doors to all those who want to go deeper inside the wine-culture, by making guided tours “on the field”. The wine tours, better if on reservation, are very interesting experiences that start between the rows of wines, showing the natural side and the landscapes, and coming to the tasting of the final product, a real strong point of the various producers, in a series of colours and perfumes.

From the end of March to December, the shows, the events and the appointments in honour of the god Bacchus are uncountable. The villages on the hills compete in proposing the famous Festivals: Barbera, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbaresco, Barolo, Arneis, all precious wines that, combined with traditional dishes, are the real protagonists for a calendar full of events. Cin-Cin to everyone!
